FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: controlled magneto-liquid shock absorber contains a casing with magnetic liquid, in which a rod with piston is installed, magnetizing coil installed in the enclosure. Poles out of the ferromagnetic material are arranged in the enclosure outside the casing, on them the magnetizing coils are installed. The piston contains alternating plates made out of the material with high magnetic conductance, and plates made out of the material with low magnetic conductance. The piston plates are oriented along the poles axis. In the plates out of the material with high magnetic conductance the throttle channels are made.

EFFECT: increased range of power characteristic of the magneto-liquid absorber.
