Each thermal vision camera (3) and radio transmitter (4) includes objective (23), thermal imager (24), delay line (25), subtraction unit (26), integrator (27), division unit (28), threshold unit (29), comparison units (30, 31, 32), master generator (6), converters (7, 8, 33) analogue code, switch (9), phase manipulators (10, 11, 36), power amplifier (12), transmitting antenna (13), multiplier (34) and narrow-band filter (35). Central device (5) includes receiving antenna (14), high frequency amplifiers (15, 37), multipliers (16, 17, 38, 39), narrow-band filters (18, 40), low pass filters (19, 41), printing device (20), calculating device (21) and video monitoring device (22).

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the method by early detection of fire occurring on the controlled surface of route of underground main pipeline.
