FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: one side of a special cuvette, which can regularly increase or decrease the thickness of the measured volume of the substance by a small constant value ΔL, containing the analysed solution having i components, is illuminated with light which spectrally varies in a wide range, with detection on at least i+1 monochromatic components. A photodetector is placed at the opposite side of the measured object to measure the value of light flux coming out of the cuvette in a maximum limited solid angle for receiving radiation for different monochromatic components of light at the moment of the initial state and compression (expansion) of the cuvette, and concentration of the component of the substance is determined using a system of i+1 equations.
EFFECT: invention enables to conduct spectral analysis of substances with high light scattering using one measurement channel.
