FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: by biochemical analysis of mixed non-stimulated saliva content of calcium and phosphorus compounds and activity of alkaline phosphatase are determined. Diagnosed are: reduction of saliva remineralising ability at Aap lower than 0.1, where Aap is alkaline phosphatase activity, mckat/l. Calcium deficiency if calcium content (KCa) is lower than limit value LCa (mmol/l), determined depending on alkaline phosphatase activity and phosphorus concentration (Cp mmol/l), if Aap is lower than or equals 1.0, LCa equals 0.5; if Aap is higher than 1.0, LCa is determined by formula: LCa=0.43+0.7 Aap, if phosphorus concentration Cp (mmol/l) is more than 10 to limit value LCa added is deduction, determined by formula: 0.05 Cp - 10. Phosphorus deficiency in case of phosphorus content lower than limit value LP (mmol/l), determined depending on alkaline phosphatase activity, if Aap is lower than or equals 1.0, LP=2.5, if Aap is higher than 1.0, Lp is determined by formula: Lp=1.7+0.8 Aap.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of diagnosing disorder of mineral metabolism in oral cavity by means of non-invasive method of analysis.
