METHOD OF SIMULATING DELIBERATE DAMAGE TO COMMUNICATION NETWORK ELEMENTS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G06N5/00

Abstract RU 2449366 C1

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: communication network elements are numbered, the time at which communication network elements are damaged is generated, and the beginning of another statistical implementation over a time Δt corresponding to the operating time of the communication network is determined. The relative structural significance factor of each communication network element is determined, and calculation of the number and drawing of the numbers of the damaged communication network elements is performed. Further, the communication network elements are checked for damages. The number of the damaged communication network elements is recorded. The technical state of the communication network elements is checked and the overall time for which they are in a functional Tfur and failure Tf state is determined. The availability factor Ka is calculated based on these data.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the method for simulating processes of deliberate damages to elements owing to communication networks with different structural significance in a communication network.
