METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF INTENTIONAL DAMAGES OF COMMUNICATION NETWORK ELEMENTS, FUNCTIONING IN INTERESTS OF DIFFERENT, INCLUDING ANTAGONISTIC, CONTROL SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G06N5/00

Abstract RU 2655466 C1

FIELD: communication technique; calculation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for simulating intentional damage to elements of a communication network and can be used in the design of communication networks to evaluate performance indicators. Above method includes additional specifying the simulation interval Tm, the duration of the model time step Δt, serviced control systems, the routing protocol, the average recovery time of each element of the communication network and its standard deviation, the threshold value of the damage probability for attributing the elements of the communication network to a plurality of damaged ones, placing the elements of the control systems over the elements of the communication network, building routes for servicing the information directions of control systems, defining the elements of the communication network used by the control system under study and antagonistic control systems, memorizing the elements of the communication network used to provide communication for each information direction of the control system being studied, redefining the structural significance of the elements of the communication network stored in memory, taking into account their use by antagonistic control systems, putting in correspondence the structural significance of the elements of the communication network and the probability of their deliberate damage, selecting the elements stored in memory sequentially for each information direction, for the selected elements at each step of the model time during the simulation interval, intentional damages are generated, realized by antagonistic control systems, initiating the beginning of the process of restoring the inoperative elements of the communication network, if all selected elements are operable, the value of the working information state of the information direction is increased by the step amount of the model time, after the end of the simulation interval, the readiness coefficient of the information direction is calculated and a list of inoperative communication network elements is output at each step of the model time.

EFFECT: increase the adequacy of modeling.
