FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: diode microwave signal power limiter contains input and output transmission lines and diode direct current circuit. Input line is connected with input N=2n(n=2,3,…) of channel binary divider containing N-1 single dividers connected with each other by sections of lines, and output line is connected with output N of channel binary adder containing N-1 single adders, connected with each other by sections of lines. Herewith, at least two sections connecting single adders are shunted by at least one diode each. Outputs of binary divider are connected with inputs of binary adder by N sections of lines, each one of which is shunted by at least one diode at distance close to half-wave length from binary divider input, herewith, sum of wave admittances of these line sections is greater than wave admittance of both input and output line.

EFFECT: increased level of insertion losses when operating in microwave power limitation mode compared to similar devices with simultaneous keeping small initial losses when operating in microwave signal transmission mode.
