FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: creation of multipurpose high-loaded thrust-journal bearing on shaft driving end of submersible electric motor of vertical open design is executed using inserts made of high-density frictionproof powder material. Asynchronous machine (AMV OGW) contains housing (1), shaft (2) with collar (3) on driving shaft end and having thrust surfaces (4) and (11) at both sides which surfaces function as moving sliding surfaces (4) for pump, (11) for drilling gear. For immovable parts of bearing, inserts (6) and (10) are used which are made of high-density frictionproof powder material with the same sliding surfaces (4) and (11) allowing motor to work with its driving end up for pump driving and down - for drilling gear driving. Cooling of bearing sliding surfaces is executed by fluid environment through holes (13) and (14) in the housing (1) and through free gaps (7), (15), (16), (17) between the housing (1) and the shaft (2).
EFFECT: higher reliability and lifetime of asynchronous machine operating at submergence depth up to 3000 m and at high temperature of strata water.
