FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: wireless cellular networks route messages between host computer and multiple field devices. Cellular network is synchronised by global master operation schedule which determines active periods when messages can be transmitted or received by network nodes, and inactive periods when messages cannot be transmitted or received. Based on messages sent by host computer to separate field devices, network control is executed which consists in selective support in active status of those nodes that are needed for message routing to separate field devices.
EFFECT: lower power consumption by network devices.
