FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a green-coloured β-nucleated polypropylene composition for making moulded articles. The polypropylene composition is characterised by high content of β-modifications and contains polypropylene, a β-nucleated additive, an inorganic blue pigment and an inorganic yellow pigment. Described also is a method of producing and using the composition, a moulded article and a pipe.
EFFECT: pipes made from the green-coloured β-nucleated polypropylene composition are characterised by high impact strength compared to pipes which are made from green β-nucleated polypropylene composition containing an inorganic green pigment.
