FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to method of blast-furnace melting. Charge of iron-ore materials and coke is loaded with preset arrangement of charge on blast furnace throat, charge is heated, reduction, melting and melting products release. At that, blast-furnace melting is carried out using combined blasting and using in blast-furnace charge of coke produced by coking technology with gravitational loading, and coke produced by coking with charge compaction, differing in terms of bulk density by 0.05 kg/m3 and more and loaded in amount of 15-50 and 50-85 wt.% of total amount of coke, respectively. In particular case of invention implementation coke produced by coking technology with charge compaction is loaded by separate feed, weight of which is by 12-20% more than weight of coke supplied by coking technology with gravitational charge.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of blast furnace and reduced consumption of coke.
