FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: fan for generating air flow includes a housing having an air inlet and a nozzle connected to the housing. The nozzle includes an inner channel and an air outlet through which air escapes from the fan. An inner channel extends around a passage or an opening through which air outside the nozzle is drawn by air discharged through the air outlet. The housing comprises a channel having a first end defining the air intake of the channel and a second end opposite the first end and defining the air outlet of the channel, an impeller located inside the channel to drawing the airflow through the channel, and an electric motor for driving the impeller. The second end of the channel projects from the housing into the nozzle inner channel.

EFFECT: reduction of fan noise.
