FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cassette shot hitting element comprises case with cylindrical and bottom parts, explosive, fuse and case fragmentation localizers. Localizers are composed by annular grooves at case outer surface. The case is composed by two shells, a solid inner shell and a composite outer shell. The latter consists of several isolated parts. Outer shell parts are composed of separate isolated rings to be fitted on said inner shell so that their side surface contact with each other. Annular grooves between outer shell parts are made by fitting extreme rings of outer shell parts so that they are spaced apart. Outer shell parts are composed of axial coupled spiral coils made of metal bar. Spiral cross-section is shaped to parallelogram.

EFFECT: higher hitting efficiency.
