FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to procedures for determination of runout of revolving rotor of gas centrifuge (GC) by analysing a signal from an inductive rotation sensor (sensor of rotation signalisation SR). Rotor runout occurs during rotation due to deviation of the rotor geometric axis from its axis of rotation and is demonstrated as vibrations of the rotor in the radial direction. One can distinguish N separate periods in a signal from sensor CB corresponding to N projections (peaks) of the sensor inductor. If there is runout durations of the periods vary. Some periods of the signal become longer, others shorter. By making consistent measurement of durations of the periods, one can determine a position of the rotor rotation axis relative to the geometric axis and calculate the module and angle of the runout.
EFFECT: increased precision of information on a current state of the rotor.
