FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: computing task is broken down into micro-tasks. In one version of the invention, micro-tasks have a size which enables to completely execute a specific micro-task over an allocated time interval, in which such a micro-task uses a resource required for its execution. In another version of the invention, time units are allocated for execution of micro-tasks. In another version of the invention, the entire computing task is broken down into micro-tasks and then executed via successive execution of the micro-tasks until the computing task is completely executed. In another version of the invention, each micro-task can be completely executed during its time unit. In another version of the invention, a time interval is allocated for execution of micro-tasks, in which loading of the required resources corresponds to one or more availability criteria. The program which is executed using micro-tasks can operate for the entire time the computer is on without detriment to execution of other programs running in the same computing system.

EFFECT: reduced delay for executing computing tasks.
