SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and concerns IpaD-protein Shigella and applying it as a Shigella infections vaccine. Substance of the inventions involves compositions and methods of blocking of bacteria Shigella penetration in mammal cells and providing protection against the infections caused by bacteria Shigella, or reducing a severity of Shigella infections, including polypeptide IpaD able to form neutralised antibodies showing protective action against some serotypes of bacteria Shigella, particularly S.flexneri.
EFFECT: creation of the compositions and the methods for applying them, effective for Shigella caused dysentery.
