FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: spherical annular sealing element includes spherical annular base formed with cylindrical inner surface, partially convex spherical surface and annular end surfaces. External layer is made as an integral part of partially convex spherical surface of spherical annular base. Spherical annular base includes strengthening element from metal mesh wire and heat-resistant material filling in meshes of metal wire of strengthening element and forming mixed form as an integral part of strengthening element. External layer includes base layer and sliding layer formed with lubrication composition and bonded to base layer on intermediate surface of external layer. Base layer includes strengthening element which is made of metal mesh wire and compressed, and heat-resistant material which fills in meshes of metal mesh wire of strengthening element and is bonded under pressure to strengthening element; at that, base layer is made as an integral part of partially convex spherical surface.
EFFECT: use of invention allows preventing the damage and coarsening of surfaces of conjugated elements at sliding friction, reduction of tightness and occurrence of abnormal friction noise.
