FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven system for energy conversion comprises at least one kite and at least one module. The kite is submerged into a wind jet, and the specified module is made as capable of reciprocal displacement along a guide placed near the ground. The module is connected by means of at least one cable with a kite in order to tow a module along a guide and to convert wind energy into power. The cable is made as capable of both transmitting mechanical energy from a kite and to this kite and controlling trajectory of kite flight. Energy is converted with the help of a system for power generation operating jointly with a module and a guide.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve efficiency of wind energy conversion.
