FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: support plain bearing comprises a bearing plate mounted on a foundation bed and having two mounted double-arm balance arms (10) each of which comprises two bearing shoes (3) mounted through spherical thrusts and having an antifriction coating and grooves on their sliding surfaces to create an oil hydrostatic film of a low pressure hydraulic system (5). In the middle of the sliding surface of each shoe (3) there is a hole connected with a high pressure hydraulic system (4) to create conditions to facilitate drum rotation or to prevent emergency jamming by providing a hydraulic lift. Each show (3) is also equipped with an individual water-cooling system and a shoe temperature detector. The hole located in the middle of the sliding surface of the boot (3) is equipped with a surrounding spherical or conical cavity connected with the hydraulic system (4). Each temperature detector is connected to an audio alarm device and an automatic shut-down device of a primary rotary drive engine of the drum with emergency oil supply through the hydraulic system (4) into a contact area of the shoes (3) and a drum pin (2).
EFFECT: improved greasing, low wear and emergency control ensured by reliable temperature control of the shoe sliding surfaces.
