FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: normally closed electromagnetic gate valve comprises a body with inlet and outlet ports, a seat, a spring-assisted shutting-off device with a rod, an electromagnet with a magnetic circuit with a magnetising winding and an anchor. The shutting-off device is represented in the form of a gate. On a cylindrical surface of the gate, there is a pair of packing boxes and a pilot-operated valve pinned with the rod mounted in the gate having a pilot-operated valve in the base. An electromagnet is arranged on a guide linear bushing between flanges with an upper flange pressed by a cup to a screw cover and fixed by a retaining ring on the guide bushing. The device comprises an inductive position sensor of the shutting-off device which is fastened on a lower end face of the body and a valve control assembly placed on a printed-circuit board and located inside the cup.

EFFECT: invention provides higher operating reliability and enhances the valve.
