FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: one measures instantaneous values of voltage on the capacitance serially connected into the circuit being diagnosed in the course of the transient process during DC voltage supply to the electric circuit. The transitory process indicators may be used as the diagnostics parameters. Comparing them to the parameters rated value, one can judge on presence of defects.

EFFECT: enhanced informative value of diagnostics due to usage of the transitory process indicators (more sensitive to variations in the electric circuit parameters) as the diagnostics parameters.
