FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of disperse particles from gases using centrifugal forces. Proposed separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing, upper and lower bottoms, intake, discharge and drain branch pipes 4, baffle 7, reflector 8, separation pack made up of vertical flat bent separation plates 12. Note here that, at least, two vertical separation plates 9 making fluid channel 24 are arranged along separator housing, from deflector end to reflector front. Separation plates 9 are arranged over the entire height of separation pack 23 with clearance between each other, deflector 7 and reflector plates 8. Start 26 of first separation plate 8 is located along tangent to deflector plate end. Start of every other separation plate 9 is located along tangent to previous separation plate end 9. Start 8 of reflector plate 8 is located along tangent to last deflector plate end 9. Every separation plate 9 is provided with bead 22 made at obtuse angle thereto and directed toward separation pack.
EFFECT: higher quality of separation.
