FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing with upper and lower covers, intake, discharge and drain branch pipes, horizontal baffle rigidly fixed in the sad housing and furnished with drain orifice communicating with separator bottom, separation package with drop leg and deflector arranged by the intake branch pipe. Aforesaid horizontal baffle divides separator inner chamber into a vortex and an extra chamber, while the deflector outlet is arranged in vortex chamber. Intake and discharge branch pipes are mounted interaligned and fixed in separator extra chamber. Separator incorporates additionally a spiral plate fitted at separator lower cover and conical deflector rigidly attached to upper cover in extra chamber, aligned with separation package. Drain rod is attached to conical deflector top.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency, lower costs.
