FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in helicopter turbo-prop engine automatic control systems. In compliance with proposed method, dependencies of reduced gas temperature upstream of turbine on reduced fuel consumption are defined for every engine and compared with similar magnitudes measured at starting operation of power plant so that the rate of use of every engine is defined and compared. Then, obtained difference is used to correct measured engine torques.
EFFECT: simultaneous aging of engines.
