SUBSTANCE: fuel injector 10 comprises hydraulic coupling element 24, 30 and valve element 12. Valve element 12 is made up of injector needle fitted in casing with sprayer 18. Hydraulic coupling element comprises piston 24 and sleeve 30. Said element transfer drive translation to valve element 12. Valve element 12 has outer diameter 44. Sleeve 30 has inner diameter 46. Said sleeve 30 covers piston 24 fitted therein over outer diameter 46. Sleeve inner diameter 46 exceeds valve element outer diameter 44. Difference between said diameters does not exceed 0.2 mm.
EFFECT: decreased pressure in hydraulic coupling element in piston rise.
