FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: tensioning device includes shaft (10) having shaft part (12) provided with possibility of being engaged with mounting surface, pivoted lever (50) installed on the shaft with possibility of being rotated about axis (A-A), plate (70) rigidly fixed on the shaft and located on the shaft end opposite shaft part (12), torsion spring (60) engaged between pivoted lever and plate for offset of pivoted lever. Torsion spring is located opposite shaft part and is adjacent to the plate. Pulley (40) is installed on pivoted lever. Rotation centre of pivoted lever is located eccentrically relative to plate rotation centre. Pivoted lever has an eye which interacts with the part on the plate in order to specify the relative position of pivoted lever relative to plate during installation, and part for arrangement of tool on plate for rotary control of plate during installation.
EFFECT: invention allows maintaining relatively constant belt tension in all temperature ranges of engine and providing compensation means of dynamic characteristics of belt and belt drive during load variations.
