FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed element comprises cooling plate facing the lining, indirect radiator arranged at an angle to cooling plate, and coolant channel. Indirect radiator is welded to cooling plate to make T- or L-like section. Coolant channel is connected with indirect radiator extending from furnace wall and communicated with coolant inlet and outlet. Note here that cooling plate and indirect radiator are made from solid material.
EFFECT: improved heat removal from furnace body and its dry state.
