FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of composite-fibre materials (CFM) and describes a method of determining the non-elastic component when compressing uncured CFM, where a fabric sample is cut from the uncured CFM (prepreg) in form of a rhombus with sides parallel to the thread families and hooked onto the sides of a four-link chain. A tensile load P is applied to opposite corners of the four-link chain and relative deformation of the fabric is determined during compression in the direction φ0 to threads of the reinforcing material.

EFFECT: method can be used widely in space-rocket engineering, aircraft building, chemical machine building and other industries.
