SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production technology of composite fibre materials with holes and can be widely used in rocket and space technology, aircraft manufacturing and other industries. Method of making threads in the holes in products made of reinforced plastics is carried out by piercing the uncured material with a sharpened rod and moving the reinforcement of the product. Piercing element is used, in which a thread is cut on the cylindrical part, and the puncture is carried out by rotating the pointed rod. Threading of the surface of the hole is carried out. Upon threading by the piercing method, the force field of the reinforcing fibres is not interrupted, and the thread itself is compacted due to the increased fibre content.

EFFECT: strength of the thread formed in puncturing hole is much higher than the strength of the thread cut by the traditional method.
