SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pre-impregnated composite material (prepreg), method of its production, composite part or structure, as well as to method of its production. Pre-impregnated composite material contains A) reinforcing fibres and B) uncured matrix resin. Matrix resin contains (a) a resin component containing at least one epoxy resin, (b) a thermoplastic particle component, (c) a thermoplastic impact-enhancing component containing polyether sulphone, (d) a curing agent. Component of thermoplastic particles consists of a mixture of a first group of polyamide particles which do not contain a cross-linked polyamide, and a second group of polyamide particles which contain a cross-linked polyamide. Prepreg can be cured/moulded to form composite parts.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain materials having high levels of compression strength in dry conditions at room temperature and which retain their compression strength under hot and humid conditions.
