FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: points of earthing device, between which voltage measurement is required, are connected by means of insulated wire made from resistive material; current is measured in that wire and voltage is calculated as per pre-measured resistance value of wire and measured current value.
EFFECT: ensuring safety of measurements, continuous monitoring of earthing device condition and obtaining realistic image of voltage distribution on it at lightning strokes, earth faults and switching in primary circuits of power site.
