FIELD: lighting protection of miscellaneous entities. SUBSTANCE: lighting protector has central discharging rod inserted in conducting lid of insulating case, central ground rod, side rods multisection generator discharger, step-up and isolating transformers, capacitor, and case. Discharging rod is connected to starting lead of first of series-connected secondary windings of step-up transformers. Finishing lead of last of secondary windings of step-up transformers is connected to last section of multisection discharger and to starting lead of isolating transformer primary winding, ground rod, and one of generator discharger poles. Second pole of generator discharger is directly coupled with base of side rods and connected through capacitor to finishing lead of isolating transformer primary winding. Secondary winding of this transformer and primary windings of step-up transformers are connected in parallel. Step-up transformer is placed inside multisection discharger.
