The first transistor is connected to the first data signal line and the first scanning signal line, the second transistor is connected to the first data signal line and the second scanning signal line, the third transistor is connected to the first data signal line and the third scanning signal line and the fourth transistor is connected to the first data signal line and the fourth scanning signal line. The first and second pixel electrodes lie in a first pixel region, the third and fourth lie in a second pixel region lying next to the first pixel region in the direction of columns. The first and second pixel electrodes, as well as the third and fourth pixel electrodes are connected to each other through a coupling capacitor, and are connected to each other through coupling capacitors.

EFFECT: high quality of display in a liquid crystal display device with a capacitively coupled pixel division mode.
