FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: femoral arterial trunk is separated at a level of the middle one-third and ligatured with a synthetic suture in two points. The artery is transected between the ligatures, and the joint is immobilised for 28 days. Animal's joints bent at the angle of 40° are fixed with an apparatus comprising two U-shape support arches pivotally connected by rods attached on crossed transcutaneous K-wires.

EFFECT: higher reproducibility of the pathological process ensured by extra-articular blood supply disturbance of knee joint tissues and reduced length of formation thereof.
