The control unit (209) controls the cyclic shift value of the ZAC sequence used for primary extension in the extension section (214), and the code extension sequence on blocks used for secondary extension in the extension section (217), according to the established stepped change pattern. The stepped change pattern, established by the control unit (209), consists of two hierarchical levels. The stepped change pattern for each LB, distinguished for each cell, is determined in the first hierarchical level in order to randomise interference between cells. The stepped change pattern, distinguished for each mobile station, is determined in the second hierarchical level in order to randomise interference inside cells.

EFFECT: invention discloses a radio communication apparatus capable of randomising interference both between cells and inside cells.
