SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. In a terminal, a control unit transmits an aggregated response signal using a resource in the main region of an uplink control channel in a unit uplink frequency band of a group of unit frequency bands when an error is detected in each of a plurality of downlink data parts of a group of unit frequency bands, said uplink control channel in a unit uplink frequency band is associated with a downlink control channel in a base unit frequency band, which is a unit downlink frequency band in which a broadcast channel signal is transmitted, which includes information about said unit uplink frequency band, and the control unit transmits the aggregated response signal using a resource in an additional region of an uplink control channel, when an error is detected in each of a plurality of downlink data parts.

EFFECT: providing a terminal device and a retransmission control method which enable to prevent deterioration of response signal characteristics and minimise increase in uplink control channel overhead when ARQ is applied to communication using a unit uplink frequency band and a plurality of unit downlink frequency bands associated with said unit uplink frequency band.
