FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: roller guide contains several segments, which support bar (3) on two opposite sides (4, 5) using the supporting elements (6, 7). The supporting elements (6, 7) are located in bottom frame (8) and top frame (9), whereby frames (8, 9) are intended to guide bar (3) in transportation direction (F). In order to enable optimal installation of the support and facilitate replacement of frame segments means (10) are provided using which upper and lower frame (8, 9) can be moved relative to each other in transportation direction (F). Means (10) contain two rod-shaped guides (11, 12) each mounted on upper and lower frame (8, 9). Guide (11, 12) has actuator (13) to change effective length (L) of guide (11, 12). Actuators (13) in guides (11, 12) are connected to the control and regulating means for independent control of actuator (13).

EFFECT: improved distribution of the bar support using rollers, removal and installation of segments.
