SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting. Roller unit (33, 33a) contains roller (26) separately mounted to the workpiece, roller beam (28, 28a), adjusting device (30) and cross member (32, 32a). Roller (26) is connected to beam (28, 28a) and adjusting device (30) at one end, and at the other end – to cross member (32, 32a). Preferably, the connection of adjusting device (30) with cross member (32, 32a) or with roller beam (28, 28a) with the possibility of translational and rotational movement with the help of at least one support (43).
EFFECT: support of the adjusting device of the movable ensures the prevention of undesirable effects of lateral force or moment on the adjusting device.
