SUBSTANCE: waste water is fed into a tank having a biological treatment zone 1 through an inlet hole 11. The stream of waste water formed is fed into a reservoir having a mixing zone 2. The reservoir 2 has a mixer 22, an granular material inlet channel 41, apparatus 24 for feeding a flocculating reagent and apparatus 23 for feeding a coagulating reagent. The purified water is directed through a deflector 34 into a deposition zone 3. The mixture of sludge and granular material deposited in the deposition zone 3 is fed by a pump through a discharge channel 35 into a hydrocyclone 4. The granular material is regenerated in the hydrocyclone 4. A large portion of the sludge treated in the hydrocyclone is extracted. Clarified water is removed from the deposition zone 3 through a water collection channel 32.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to reduce concentration of suspended substances and purify waste water in a compact apparatus.
