SUBSTANCE: machine (1) for clothes comprises a rotating drum (5) for clothes, having a front opening for access. To the drum (5) an electrical device and an electric generator (22) are attached configured to generate electrical energy while rotating the drum (5) for actuating the electric device. The electric generator (22) comprises at least one coil (23) and magnetic mass (24), mounted inside the coil (23). The coil (23) contains two mechanical stops (25, 26) each of which restricts the movement of the magnetic mass (24) and determines the corresponding limiting position. The magnetic mass (24) is mounted with an ability of free cyclical movement within the coil (23) between the two limiting positions during rotation of the drum (5).
EFFECT: simplification of the generator and reduction of the machine prime cost.
