FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plate clutch comprises two half-couplings and intermediate spacer piece arranged there between. Splines are made on every half-coupling for engagement with drive and driven shafts. End flanges on half-couplings and clutch are X-jointed together by four bolts, each being furnished with washer and nut. One of said half-couplings has stem arranged inside sleeve the sleeve. Stack of round sheet 0.15-0.22 mm-thick gaskets made from stainless steel are arranged between adjacent ends of half-coupling and sleeve flanges. Hole with diameter exceeding that of bolt head is made on all flanges, on one of diagonal lines, to allow bolt head contact with stack top gasket.
EFFECT: transmission of higher torque.
