FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: this invention may be generalised by using a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) limited in diffraction and giving a high angle of integration and a small depth of a field, which serve as a reason that the energy from underground targets is focused independently at different depths, to make it possible to generate 3D images. The radar design according to the invention shall be realised taking into account the following parameters: selection of suitable geometry of lighting, i.e. angle and place, and suitable use of treatment of low-frequency SAR limited in diffraction to produce 3D images, and selection of the appropriate low frequency of the radar.

EFFECT: higher accuracy to generate an underground image.
