FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that one and the same control program is executed with redundancy in several actuator units 2A, 2B in comparison mode (VM). Said program represents program of control over ICE developed torque. To identify failure, signals generated by said actuator units are compared in executing said control program. After its execution, system is changed over into higher efficiency mode (PM) whereat said units execute different programs. Note also that programs executed in higher efficiency mode (PM) control ICE.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability.
