SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of control of the wirelss communication signals through an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH), functioning in CELL-FACH state with an assigned temporary E-DCH radio network identifier (E-RNTI). The method to control wireless communication signals, implemented in the wireless transmission/reception unit (WTRU), comprises the stages where the operation is performed in the CELL_FACH state with an assigned temporary E-DCH radio network identifier (E-RNTI); expiration of the timer of periodic cell update is defined; it is defined whether a WTRU has a dedicated resource E-DCH, the timer of periodical cell update runs without a periodical cell update.
EFFECT: high communication reliability in E-DCH recourse.
