FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas and steam cleaning of water and mechanical impurities and may be used in power engineering, gas and oil industry, and chemical industry. Proposed separator comprises vertical cylindrical casing, tangential flow feed device, central gas discharge tube, fluid discharge branch pipe, intercepting plate with axial bore at casing lower section, and reflector. The latter is arranged above intercepting plate central bore with clearance there between. Said reflector and intercepting plate are made up of ball segments with section surface directed downward.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
