FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for treatment of gases and liquid from mechanical admixtures and may be used in gas, oil, power and other industries. The separator comprises a vertical body with a cover and a bottom, a cylindrical cartridge arranged in the body with a gap, a tangential input of the gas and liquid mixture passing into the inner cavity of the cartridge via the body cover, a nozzle of gas exhaust connected to the inner cavity of the cartridge with the help of a gas discharge pipe, a nozzle of liquid drain and a nozzle of residue discharge. The body is made of stepped shape with the upper cylindrical part of larger diameter and the lower cylindrical part of the smaller diameter. The lower part of the body with its upper edge is installed in its upper part and is equipped with an additional nozzle of liquid drain and a conical part fixed to its lower edge and connected to the nozzle of the residue drain. The cartridge rests against the upper edge of the lower part of the body, is made with vertical slots and is equipped with a filtering element that adjoins the wall of the cylindrical part at the side of its inner cavity. The gap between the body and the cartridge is communicated with the gas exhaust pipe with the help of the gas exhaust nozzle.

EFFECT: improved quality of liquid and gas treatment, increased time between repairs, elimination of possibility of separator clogging with solid fractions, also when the mixture flow breaks or pressure collapses.
