FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of two-phase gas-fluid mixes and may be used in gas, oil, petrochemical and other industries. Proposed separator comprise vertical cylindrical housing with gas-fluid flow feed tangential branch pipe, gas exhaust tube, disperse phase discharge branch pipe and conical baffle at bottom. Housing top section is provided with feed chamber with its bottom furnished with discharge chute and branch pipe for primary removal of disperse phase. Housing bottom inner surface is furnished with vertical disperse phase trap web. Exhaust tube top section accommodates disperse phase shutoff valve shaped to truncated cone with disperse phase discharge branch pipe. Exhaust tube bottom section accommodates coaxial ring element made up of overlapping vertical plates making nozzle channels and oriented toward incoming gas-fluid flow.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
