FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass exchange in system of two immiscible fluids for concentration and purification of components, and to device to this end. Proposed method comprises feed of organic (O) and water (W) flows at O:W ratio <0.1 or O:W>10 via vertical column with packing and discharge of flows therefrom. Note here that organic and water flows are forced cyclically through layer of granular macroporous packing with open and communicated pores with prevailing diameter exceeding 10 mcm, particle size of 0.3-1.5 mm, bulk porosity of 20-80% and minor flow selectively wettable phase. Proposed device comprises column with packing, phase intake and discharge valves, furnished with two phase separation chambers arranged at column top and bottom coaxially with column casing. Column top cover is equipped with union and full-opening gate valve for packing loading and unloading.
EFFECT: higher quality of purification, efficiency and quality.
