FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: oil cooler is made up of plate-type exchanger 3 with coolant guides and oil guide chambers 5, 6 located between plates. Said oil guide chambers 5, 6 located between plates have external inlet zone 6a arranged along outer edges of heat exchanger 3 for hot oil being cooled to flow in said chambers 5, 6. Oil guide chambers 6 located between plates have external outlet zone 6b spaced apart from inlet zone 6a and along heat exchanger outer edges and communicated, directly or indirectly, with outer oil guide communicating zone via which cooled oil flows out after passing chambers 6 and after heat exchanger.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling.
