FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ensuring optimum execution of a system of technological processes for collecting and preparing gas for long-distance transportation using an automated technological process control system. To realise the method of increasing reliability of incoming information in an automated technological process control system at an oil/gas condensate field, said system includes a knowledge base containing algorithms for diagnosing operating capacity of each sensor based on production models of furnishing knowledge on their potential faults. In case of failure of a sensor, the knowledge base issues a recommendation for eliminating possible reasons of the fault or proposes to switch to a backup sensor, and if there is no backup sensor, issues a recommendation to designate an optimum averaged value of the parameter, control of which is lost, in order to execute that technological process.

EFFECT: high reliability of information coming from sensors of an automated technological process control system and rapid diagnosis of faulty and unstable sensors and control and measuring apparatus.
